About the Author
A leading pro-family activists on Capital Hill, Michael Farris is a constitutional lawyer, author, ordained minister and father of ten. He was an honors graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law. Founder and president of the Home School Legal Defense Association with 60,000 member homeschool families and a staff of sixty, Mike also finds the time for other interests. He is the President of Patrick Henry College and hosts a daily radio show Home School Heartbeat broadcasting on over 900 stations.
Mike is the Chairman of the Madison Project, a grassroots Political Action Committee which has given over $1,000,000 to pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution candidates for Congress. Most importantly, together with Vickie, his wife of nearly 30 years, Mike has ten home-schooled children ranging in age from 2 to 23 years!
