Item Description...

Cream scalloped edge stoneware Dinner Plate. Picture shows set however this is for Dinner Plate only. Microwave & dishwasher safe.

The inspiration for this plate comes from original pottery and biscuitware plates made in the early 1800s in the United States. Craftsman would take an unfired dish and trim the edge. The neatly trimmed edge would be notched with a wooden coggle wheel to create a unique decorative style. Elegant, stylish and beautiful, this pattern has endured for 200 years as a designer classic. This gorgeous collection is at home in a rustic cabin, an elegant countryside chateaux, or a modern apartment.

Designers Tip: This collection works well on a rustic wooden table with simple table napkins. Use natural linens to keep in theme with the historic nature of the plates. Accent with designer pieces in silver and even some glass such as our tall glass desert stands. For added holiday splash, add in a contrasting charger. Keep your silverware simple, to theme in with the elegant nature of the chinaware pattern.
